2. What I need 

My Personal Data Protection Policy governs the use and storage of your data. 

BoWa is a controller for client personal data you (the data subject) provide. I collect the following types of personal data from you: 

  • Name 

  • Email address(es) 

  • Telephone number(s) 

  • Postal and billing address 

  • Payment method 

 

3. Why I need the above data 

I need your personal data in order to provide you with the following: 

  • Fulfil commissions and purchases from my website 

  • Process quotes or queries relating to BoWa’s services 

  • Monitor and analyse visits to my website for internal reporting 

 

4. What I do with the personal data I collect 

Your personal data is processed by me, Bobby Wadey. Hosting and storage of your data takes place by using cloud storage infrastructure (more information below). 

Your data will not be shared to third parties unless I have your express permission to do so, unless required by law, or it is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations with you. 

I may use the following third party service providers to process and store your data, only where applicable, depending on your use of BoWa’s services: 

  • G-Suite (Google, Inc), which I use for my email services and my virtual file storage. Read Google’s privacy policy here.  

  • Microsoft 365 (Microsoft LLC), which I use for my virtual file storage. Read their privacy policy here.  

  • Squarespace, which I use to host and manage my website. Read their privacy policy here.

  • Adobe Suite, which I use for design purposes. Read their privacy policy here. 

  • PayPal, which I use to collect payment for services and purchases. Read their privacy policy here.

5. What is the lawful basis for processing your information? 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the lawful basis I rely on for processing your information is your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Bobby Wadey at bobby@bowadesign.com or in writing at 44 Boyd Avenue, Kircubbin, Co. Down, BT22 2SW. 

 

6. How long I keep personal data 

Under UK GDPR, I am required to keep your documents for no longer than it is necessary for the purposes of which it is processed. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed.

7. What are your rights? 

Under UK GDPR, you have rights including: 

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information 

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete 

  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances 

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances 

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances 

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances 

Should you believe that any personal data I hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the ability to request to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. I will respond to such requests within 30 days. If I are not sure of your identity, I may require you to provide further information in order for me to confirm who you are. 

In addition, where you have provided consent for the processing of your data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent is withdrawn.

If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office and file a complaint with them.
